Green Commute Alternatives

101 WAYS TO GREEN MARIN'S TRIPS!

TAM has been establishing Green Commute Alternatives for Marin residents and businesses – opportunities for commuters to reduce single-occupancy vehicle trips to and from work.   As Transportation Demand Management (TDM), there are programs which can encourage pooled-transportation options and provide assurances to make transit use and carpool/vanpool transport more convenient.  In June 2013, TAM completed a survey and focus group report 'The Marin Commuter' to identify and promote opportunities to support commuters and encourage the use of green commute alternatives.
