Bike Share Feasibility Study

TAM completed a bike share feasibility study with the help of consultant Alta Planning + Design in January 2013. The study suggests a timeline of approximately 24-30 months to plan, fund, and implement a bike share program, with the following activities: engaging potential local sponsors and large employers, selecting a lead agency and business model, observing and assessing the Bay Area Pilot Program launch, station siting and implementation.

Outreach to identify prospective sponsors has been provided by consultant Scot Hunter (scothunter@comcast.net) and technical advisory services provided by Alta Planning + Design.
