The TAM Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) is an advisory committee to TAM’s Executive Director that meets on a quarterly basis. It was established in may 2008 as mandated by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) to:

Advise on candidate project applications for state Transportation Development Act Article 3 funds administered by the commission, for applications for funding under MTC’s Regional Bicycle and Pedestrian Program (RBPP)

Assist in the implementation of “Routine Accommodation”

Members

The BPAC is made up of 13 members consisting of six geographic and nine “special perspective” representatives. Two members play dual roles: one of the special perspective members must represent environmental interests and one must represent business interests.
