TAM has awarded a $5,000 grant to the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce in support of its 2016-2017 Leadership Class Emergency Bicycle Repair Fixit Station Project. The leadership Institute is a program of the San Rafael Chamber to bring together community members, professionals and policy makers to develop leadership and team-building skills while learning about current issues that impact Marin County.

Each year the leadership class develops a class project designed to address the top five priorities identified by the San Rafael Chamber, including traffic congestion, sustainability, homelessness, workforce development and affordable housing.

This year’s Leadership class pursued the Emergency Bicycle Repair Fixit Station Project in order to address address two of the top priorities, traffic congestion and sustainability.
