Through the Measure AA Sales Tax Category 2.3, the Transportation Authority of Marin (TAM) has a sea level rise program focusing on adapting Marin’s transportation infrastructure to sea level rise and flooding. As a part of that program, TAM is conducting a study focused on Sea Level Rise Adaptation of Marin County’s Transportation System. The study’s objectives as directed by the Board are to identify potential SLR solutions for Marin roadways, communities, and critical assets, as well as guide future implementation of infrastructure and TAM funding programs focused on sea level rise.
