School Access Safety Action Plan

The Transportation Authority of Marin (TAM) is leading the development of a countywide Safety Action Plan to improve student safety and access to and from schools. The plan uses data-driven analysis to identify high-risk locations and prioritize targeted improvements. The goal of the plan is to improve student safety and accessibility by focusing on high-risk corridors and key school travel routes through data-driven strategies and coordinated local action. For current information visit the Safe Routes to Schools website.
The plan is funded from a $544,000 Safe Streets and Roads For All (SS4A) grant with a total cost of $680,000.
